1) Q. DOES EVERYONE HAVE THE ABILITY TO BECOME A REAL MEDIUM?
A. I believe that we can all bring about the ability. Some individuals may be stronger than others in contacting the Spirit realm. Meditation and joining a development circle and training will help you connect with your guides to help with your progression and understanding.
2) Q. IS DEVELOPMENT OF MEDIUMSHIP HARMFUL?
A. I can quite honestly say no. In fact, the opposite is true. Many people benefit mentally and physically although in the beginning you may experience some slight physiological changes, require a little more sleep, and feel the need to drink more water. That's not all bad.
3) Q. I HAVE BEEN TO SEE A MEDIUM AND WANTED MY MOM TO COME THROUGH BUT SHE DIDN'T. WHY IS THIS?
A. Unfortunately, you can want to hear from someone so much that you can subconsciously put up barriers. I call this "our own psychic debris". Being one's own medium sometimes makes it more difficult for the loved one to connect. Try and connect with an open heart and in a relaxed frame of mind with no expectations. If you keep at it, eventually you will make the connection.
4) Q. I JUST STARTED TO ATTEND MEDIUMSHIP CIRCLES AND MY DREAMS ARE MORE VIVID, WHY IS THIS?
A. This is because the dream channel is one of the first to unfold. Our subconscious mind is more open and able to communicate with the higher realms while our conscious mind sleeps.
5) Q. WHY DO SPIRITS COME THROUGH A MEDIUM RATHER THAN COMMUNICATING WITH US DIRECTLY?
A. Part of the answer is in question 3. Also, the reason your loved one uses a medium is solely because mediums are very attuned to the spiritual vibrations thus making communication much easier. You can't hear your favorite radio station out of the air without a radio and you can't make a phone call without a phone. It is the same principle.
6) Q. WHY IS IT DIFFICULT SPIRITS TO GIVE EXACT TIMES?
A. When our loved ones pass over, they are not governed by clocks, days or nights and for them, time is eternal. They may see an event coming up in what they believe is the near future, but sometimes misjudge the actual timing. Consider that fact that sometimes we are meant to experience an situation for our soul's progress and prior knowledge might hinder the impact of how we grow through the event. Also, even though loved ones are in Spirit, they may not always have certain information available to you.
7) Q. HOW DO WE KNOW IF THE MESSAGES WE RECEIVE ARE THAT OF OUR OWN MAKING OR FROM REAL SPIRIT COMMUNICATING?
A. Your first thoughts are from Spirit. The main thing to know is to trust what information you get but to employ discernment as well. Valid information received should not be negative in nature. A developed medium will help train you.
Case Study: Not long ago I had a dream that my mother was very angry with me and I was receiving the impression that she was giving me a stern lecture. This was upsetting at first as I truly believe our loved ones visit us in our dream state. Was this really my mother? No. It was a part of my subconscious self processing some recent poor decisions I felt I had made on a deep level. So please, always know that a true visitation from a loved one will come through as loving with positive feelings attached to the dream.
